The advantage, compared with other materials, consists particularly in the fact that lime deposits are impossible: Due to vibrations and expansions and even with very limy water, there are no deposits on the pipe wall.
Other advantages of the heat exchanger:

*Stainless steel corrugated pipes have been used in conduits for the verification of decalcifying installations. Due to vibrations and expansions and even with very limy water, there were no deposits on the pipe wall.
**The waves create a turbulent flow, meaning that the fluid in the centre of the pipe will not drain of in a fast way, but has the time to transmit the heat to the environment. The pressure loss are compensated when being transferred to the next bigger diameter.
